MOVE IT FATTY!

Tryin to fix this in fighter factory. This isn't my character, I'm just editing it so it doesn't look like someone shit all over my screen. If anyone can help me, I'll make it worth while.

Have you tried changing the image (9000, 0)? Try that. A usual small portrait is size 25 by 25 pixels. If that doesn't work then I don't know what else to do as that's the only thing I can think of that would fix it. I usually use gimp a photo editing program to make small/large portraits. If you need any more help feel free to ask.

I actually fixed it using an unused portrait image that was in the def. I used fireworks to decrease the canvas size and shrinked the image down accordingly. Only problem now is I can't get the transparency to work in any of the portrait images, even if I enable transparency. I used the magic wand and paint bucket tools to make sure the background color was solid and the same color used to make it transparent but it still doesn't work. Maybe it's because the portraits aren't shared with the pallete. If they were though, it would screw up the sprites with Charizard. What do? Do I make it a transparent .png instead?

Mugen chokes if you try to add in a tranparencized (I don't think that's a real word)image. Do you use winmugen or 1.0? If your using wingmugen make sure the background color for transparencies is the very first color on the top left in the palettes maker. If your using 1.0 then make sure it's the very last color on the bottom right. If you are still having troubles try sending me the character to see if I can fix it.

The first one's background color is the same as the rest of the sprites, and the pallete is set to use it for transparency. I also have transparency enabled, and it appears transparent in fighter factory, but not in mugen.. I'll send you what I've edited so far. See if you can't screw with the pallete a bit and fix it. Zipping up the file right now.

... wait, how will I send this to you again? Through email? If you'll give me your email, then I'll send it. But I swear though, you need to get some kind of an im program so I can chat with you more, considering my lack of friends that play mugen. Why won't you?

I have tried using aol instant messenger but that failed on me. My friend uses an im service but I don't know how to obtain it. I go back to school tommorow so i'll see if I can ask him how to get it. If I get it I might not be on all to often because of my internet liking to fail on me and real life but i'll see what I can do!

AOL is the worst for everything. Most people use Skype. I actually use Trillian instead of Skype because I found Skype slow (that's my opinion, most people disagree), but you still need the Skype account. Skype is the most popular, currently.

And omg, we're so alike! I have tons of problems with rl interference too! My mom thinks I'm addicted to the computer so she grounds me every 2 days. Tomorrow is one of those days, but she has to go to work on that day, so :P that ain't going to stop me.

If your friends don't use skype, which would be suprising, then they're either using facebook, yahoo messenger, MSN, or google talk. If it's one of the last 3, I wouldn't bother with it unless you have those accounts. I have a Yahoo! account and I could get an MSN one too if you change your mind, but I wouldn't recommend them. And if you hate google as much as I do, you're probably not going to use google talk either. If you want multiple accounts and a better messenger, I'll recommend Trillian, but I'll walk you through that if you get a different messaging account since most people don't use Trillian.
